Arioso Strings Musicians
Natalie VanBurkleo Carbonara, Classical Violinist, Electric Violinist & Founder of Arioso Strings is a native of the Twin Cities. She has been booking music for events since 1997. Natalie studied violin at the University of Minnesota and Louisiana State University. She runs a violin studio with students of all ages and enjoys her freelance performance work throughout the Twin Cities where she can be heard performing with a number of other string quartets, choirs, theaters, church services, bands, tango groups and music series programs in the Twin Cities. Prior to living and working in the Twin Cities, Natalie performed with the Louisiana Philharmonic and was was the director/instructor of the New Orleans Center for Creative Arts Violin Preparatory Program. She has performed with many other orchestras (section violin & several principal positions) including Baton Rouge Symphony, Louisiana Sinfonietta, Acadiana Symphony, Gulf Coast Symphony, Mobile Symphony, Duluth Symphony, Music in the Mountains Festival and South Dakota Symphony. She has recorded commercial jingles, several CD's for artists and recorded on the soundtrack of Madea's Family Reunion. A career highlight was touring with the original Canadian Tenors as their solo violinist. Natalie founded the Baton Rouge String Festival, Summit Music & Young Artist Concerts and the Twin Cities Violin Choir. Her work with Summit Music produces 100+ beautiful programs for senior citizens each year.

Dave Carbonara, Double Bass and co-owner of Arioso Strings, is a native of New York. Dave recieved his two music degrees from The Juilliard School. Prior to living in the Twin Cities, he performed full time with the Louisiana Philharmonic Orchestra in New Orleans for about 20 years and taught at several universities. Dave freelances and teaches full time and also manages the Minneapolis Jazz Trio , a guitar, bass and drums trio that performs at events around Minnesota. He has also performed with orchestras such as Minnesota Oratorio Society, Exultate Chamber Choir & Orchestra (principal bass), Duluth Symphony (principal bass), Mankato Symphony, Rochester Symphony, Jacksonville Symphony, Fort Worth Symphony, Virginia Symphony(principal bass), New World Symphony and Music in the Mountains Festival Orchestra among others. Dave toured with the three original Canadian Tenors "Romanza" on their Midwest tour in 2011 and to South Korea in 2014. He can often be heard performing with various choirs, churches and on music series programs like Schubert Club, Thursday Musical and Summit Music Series.
